Around 70 per cent of Australians are using natural therapies, and this number is rising fast. The natural health paradigm differs from the medical as the whole person is treated in order to get to the root of a problem.

Buying generic herbs and concoctions over the counter can work well if you have a cold but if you want to enhance your wellbeing or treat a specific illness, consult a qualified natural therapist who will prescribe according to your individual physiology. Treatment that works well for one person may be wrong for another. Two people presenting with arthritis will have different imbalances andconditions triggering the ailment.

Unfortunately people often seek the services of a natural therapist after they have exhausted all their traditional medical options with little or no success. There are so many powerful and effective ways of preventing and dealing with illness if you want to avoid the dangers of drug toxicity (20% of hospital in-patients are there because of reaction to drugs) or do not want to take the purely medical road. The following information will help demystify some excellent therapies.
