Guiding lights of Christmas
Guiding lights of Christmas

Walking or driving through the suburbs at night and seeing houses decorated with Christmas lights is one of the most joyful parts of Christmas. Seeing sparkling fairy lights strung along fences and roofs, paths lined with giant candy-canes and reindeer, and hearing Christmas carols sing out into the darkness can feel like you’ve been transported into a different world.

We wanted to do our part to spread the Christmas cheer, so this week’s Pic of the Week is a collection of some of the most beautiful Christmas light house displays.

We’d love to hear which displays are your favourites. Do you go searching for Christmas light displays during the festive season? Or perhaps you love to decorate your own house each year?

Two three and eleven are my favourites. I've never thought much about decorating my own place, not having learnt the skill but I admire other people's talent and hard work. Had to laugh when a Google add came up on comparing electricity plans. By the way how do you get rid of those adds?

I like the tenth one, all of them really, we put lights out, along our front verandah, and around some of the trees, and this year my husband made me a big wooden star, and our son gave me some solar lights. The star looks great hung up in a tree.
