Female travel companion wanted
Hi
I am intending to travel in Australia ths year - see some of the good things, swim with dolphins at Monkey Mia, explore the Kimberly, visit the Cape, see Ularoo etc etc. Actual trip planning will be by mutual agreement, and my time is flexible. A relaxed trip stopping to smell any roses we might encounter is my preference.
It would be a lot more fun with a pleasant companion - someone who likes conversation, exploring country towns, is laidback, and who likes dogs as my fat Josie will be along for the ride too. I dont smoke but dont care if you do.
Travel will be by a new 4WD and caravan with shower and toilet. You will have your own bed, can bring your dog if he or she is compatible with my Josie (12yrs old, deaf and fat)
Kids would be also be very welcome, but no cats (Josie is a bit cat shy)
If you might be interested, drop me a line and we can explore our possible compatability per email and phone, but note that although I am unattached, right now I am looking for a friend and companion, not a wife or sex partner - but it would be nice if you are a warm and affectionate person.
I would expect you to chip in for food and drink, pay for your own entertainment (eg boat trips etc), but only contribute for fuel etc if you are able as I know what its like living on the pension.

Getting to know you
I was raised on a farm near Ulverstone, Tasmania. I really wanted to be a farmer but nice girls didn't! I became a primary school teacher. I went to Melbourne and fell in love…..with the sixties. We missed them in Tassie! I joined the fringes of the peace movement and wrote dreadful poetry. When I was 23, I married. Life changed dramatically. I worked for the Defence Forces, learned to appreciate Rugby, wash 30 football sweaters, and go to segregated parties. After the football came the hunting, fishing and pirate radio phases, followed by "bush bashing," fossicking and gem hunting. A baby boy slowed us down. We bought a bus and dropped out, into the alternative lifestyle - permaculture- scene in Stanley. As is the norm, we eventually dropped back in again. I was teaching and my husband was now acting as an advocate for fishermen. He got a job associated with industry training, which took us to Hobart and put him firmly on the executive ladder. By this time my daughters had also arrived and I became super involved with schools, causes, disabled kids and social justice, et al. Dave's work took him to Darwin (which I loved), to Sydney (which I didn't) and now, finally, back to Victoria where we first met, have long since parted, and there are still four seasons to every day. Having enjoyed the benefits of smoking for many years I should not have been surprised when I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and emphysema for Christmas in 1998. The permanent addition of an oxygen hose to the mixture worked a minor miracle. My present passions are Terry Pratchett, rather ineptly assisting an octogenarian friend in the evolution of a website: www.26cavcommando.org.au to immortalize 3000 young Aussies (of whom my father was one) before they pass from the mind and the pages of history entirely, family, proofreading essays, advocacy, and book reviewing for http://www.bonzer.org.au/,( another great seniors website) . Want to meet like minded seniors so please 'friend' me on Facebook. Heather Patricia Stone. Carpe diem.
