About Us

About Seniors website was launched in September 2000 as the brain-child of Ged and Judy Lawrence, who were supported technically by their son, Greg.  When Ged sadly passed away, About Seniors was purchased by Indigo Arch Publishing Pty Ltd in July 2005.

Since then, About Seniors has continued to grow through an active and supportive subscriber base.  About Seniors has followed Ged and Judy’s initial concept of providing independent, up-to-date information for those approaching retirement, in retirement and their families.
The website has evolved considerably and in early 2010 it was decided that the website would mirror the format and content of it’s sister print magazine, YOURLifeChoices. To streamline the process of publishing the magazine, website and associated enewsletters and to allow the focus to remain on independent and current information for a broader range of readers, those 45+, About Seniors migrated to it’s new branding, YOURLifeChoices – it’s not just about seniors.

The team has remained the same, with Debbie, Drew, David and Kaye happy to address your comments, answer your questions and be there to listen. We will continue to do what we do with the same passion as always.
