Free Google operating system

Google has announced it will launch Chrome OS, an operating system set to rival Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS, by the middle of next year, which is going to cost nothing!

The Google Chrome OS will come complete with Outlook, Word and other Microsoft software. With the introduction of Chrome OS on the market next year, it is expected that Microsoft products will need to be lowered in price if they want to maintain their 90% worldwide market share for the operating systems market.

This announcement is extremely beneficial for consumers with Windows 7 operating system being released October 22nd 2009, the sales price is tipped to be “affordable”.

Ultimately, the Google Chrome OS system is expected to be targeting laptops and other netbooks that currently run extremely slow on Windows Vista and are mainly used for work, email, internet surfing, word processing and photography.
