We are a married couple over 65, of modest means who would like to make contact with similar couples or single people who are fit and well and looking to share some time doing things we might all enjoy.

Moved up here form Victoria about 12 months ago. Finding life bit quiet and spending far too much time alone sitting at a computer. Looking to make some new friends who live not too far away from the Northern End of the Gold Coast. I enjoy movies, jazz, theatre, books, and just meeting with likeminded people to chat over coffee. I walk daily...not long distances as yet and more for the fresh air and sunshine than any real desire to be superfit. Keep the body active and the mind active and life is much more enjoyable. At this stage friends are good...if by chance someone turns into more then that also is good.
I dont drive but often go adventuring on the great bus network on the Gold Coast. Everywhere form Pac Fair to Robina and Helensvale. As well as infrequent trips into the Brisbane on trains. I am a 66 yo male retiree and I am planning a trip to Alaska via Hawaii End of March 2011. I know that it is cold in Alaska that time of the year but I wish to see the aurora borealis ( northern lights)and March or early April is the best time to go. Female travelling companion wanted

I am in my 60s and would love a companion to share a cabin on this cruise. It is Holland America Line and goes from buenos aires. YOu can be as independent as you like. I am an easy going person. Have shared a cabin beofre. I don’t smoke but do like a social drink. It is the beautiful scenery of the patagonian fjords and glaciers and penguins and the falkland islands. About $1500 for 12 days or so. I speak good spanish and have skype to communicate if you are interested. Cruise goes from late october to february. Please contact me.

I’m planning on doing volunteer teaching in Thailand later this year, for about a year.
I have a small car and about 8 cubic metres of boxes and a couple of bits of small furniture, which all fit into a normal garage.
The high cost of storing these items will almost halve my pension, and I’m looking for a kind soul who has an empty lock-up garage, somewhere around the Gold Coast, who would let me use this space.

I am asking if there is anyone out there like myself
I wish to see our country and am organised with a caravan but unfortunately my husband does not want to travel& escape the winter cold of Tassie.
I have been on a couple of trips in a camper van we had but I am sure it would be nicer to have company even though I am outgoing and will talk to make aquaintences. But most of the time I found that people like to stay put in a caravan park & really do not want to travel around
Someone in the same situation ready & set up to travel in tandem with their own vehichle etc and just wants someone on the road with them to share the trips.

I am often travelling. Cruises and Coach tours usually but on my own. I am not initially looking for someone to share a cabin or room with, but as someone to talk to and eat with and explore etc.
I am a single 72 year old male, but my attitude and activities are not really those of someone my age. Cleanliness, health and honesty are of utmost importance to me and any companion would have to think likewise.
