Pet Pals

People love their pets and some are happy to share the comings and goings on Fido and Tiddles with the rest of the world. If you love your pet and want to share it with other pet lovers, why not give your furry friend their own “Facebook” site.
Two new websites have been launched where you can make your pets their own “Facebook”, put pets up for adoption or even adopt a furry friend!

Catbook
Connecting cat lovers across Australia and around the world, you can upload a profile and photo of your cat and link-in with others. While the website may just seem like any other facebook-type website, there are medical tips and advice, forums, clubs, events and even a classified section.

Feline like some yoga?

If you thought you had seen everything, what about a cat doing yoga, can’t imagine it practicing the downward dog!

No we’re not kidding, there really is a website for cat yoga. While some cat owners may appreciate the seriousness and health benefits to their beloved fluffy one practicing this ancient form of relaxation, we think it’s pretty funny. Check out www.yogakitty.com, it’s definitely worth a look.

If you’re not a cat person, why not try out these other funny sites that will raise a chuckle or two.

www.oddanimals.com – pretty much as it promises, some of the strangest animal photos ever.
www.petmafia.com – view funny pet videos or share your own pet funnies

Bluey, an Australian cattle dog, according to an anecdotal report, lived to the ripe old age of twenty-nine years, five months and seven days, or 203 in dog years! Bluey lived on a regular diet of emu and kangaroo meat and not surprisingly, Bluey’s owner Esma Hall lived to the age of 103.
