$35 simple smartphone

The Nokia 215 is not going to impress you with any of its features, but it may be worth considering if you want a phone to use sparsely, or if you are planning on going travelling overseas and don’t want to bring your expensive and fragile smartphone with you.

The phone is internet enabled and includes a camera, a flashlight, a battery which can last up to 29 days on standby, and built-in Facebook and Twitter apps.

The Nokia 215 is stated to be durable and dependable, which, if it’s anything like its near-indestructible Nokia predecessors of the late 90s and early 2000s, is sure to be a winning feature.

The device is being released over the coming months in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe, targeting primarily first-time phone buyers with its low price. Nokia is yet to announce an Australian release date.

Watch the official video showing off the device below.

Would you consider a Nokia 215? Or are you looking for more features in a phone?
