Do I really need another insurance policy?

21st Jan 2011
Insurance policies can seem like a necessary evil, with holders hoping they never have to use them, while bemoaning the amount of money they have to pay for cover. Read Ron’s real life story if you think you don’t need funeral insurance.

Ron took out a funeral plan for himself and his wife. He felt that for just a few dollars a week, saving his family from the burden of funeral expenses was well worth the money. Sadly, Ron’s wife passed away suddenly and it was a real comfort to him knowing that he had a plan in place. “If I didn’t have funeral cover, finances would have been very tight and I would really have been struggling to cover costs – it was a real Godsend to have my policy going” he said.

At a time when finances can be extremely tight, Ron commented “If it wasn’t for the cover I had taken out, I just don’t know how I would have managed the financial burden of my wife passing away.”
