Does your Shed need a grant?

29th Mar 2011

Community-based organisations and Men’s Sheds across the country can apply for their share of funding through the Australian Government’s Shed Development Program. How would your Men’s Shed spend a grant of up to $10,000?

The Federal Government will provide $750,000 over three years to help establish new Men’s Sheds or improve the facilities of existing organisations. The program will give priority funding to regions which do not currently have sheds, have high unemployment or are working to establish shed for identified priority groups of males.

The Shed Development Program guidelines and application form can be downloaded at www.mensshed.org.
