How to get 8 watch batteries from a AA

FONT SIZE: A+ A-

Save up to $40 with this easy to do hack that takes less than a minute! Pay attention to the battery type as that is important.

You can't perform this trick with all batteries, so when opening a battery up it is important to take care - battery acid is corrosive, so you don't want to get it on your skin or clothes.

A23 is the size usually used for doorbell and garage remotes among others. it's about the same diameter as a AA, but just under half the length

And look at the price of the batteries, $1.98 ! You will not find a battery at that price here, apart from that I don't think a triple a AAA battery would be small enough for watches.

Food for thought. I pay $20.00 per battery for one of the items I use and let me tell you it doesn't last very long, now I shall see if I can work around it and save me some money. Being a female on a budget any hints are welcome.
