Human Services revamped

2nd Aug 2011

From 1 July 2011, Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support have been integrated into the existing Department of Human Services. What will this mean for you?

The aim of integrating Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support under the one banner of the Department of Human Services is to streamline processes and make claiming allowances simpler. Information of each of the three aforementioned agencies, now known as ‘Master Programs’, can be found on the one website, www.humanservices.gov.au.

Stay tuned for more changes.
