Set your homepage

FONT SIZE: A+ A-

It is common (bad) practice for installations of new programs and upgrades to current software to change your internet homepage. Drew explains how to reset your homepage in four different browsers.

Internet Explorer
Open Internet Explorer
Click on 'Tools' at the top, or click the cog symbol at the top right hand side of your screen, depending on which version of Internet Explorer you are using.
Click on 'Internet Options'
Click on the 'General' tab at the top left
Under ‘Home Page’, change your current homepage to: http://www.yourlifechoices.com.au/
Click 'Apply' at the bottom right, then click 'Ok' on the bottom left

Mozilla Firefox
Open Mozilla Firefox
Click on 'Tools' at the top, or click the house symbol at the top right hand side of your screen, depending on which version of Internet Explorer your are using.
Click on 'Options' or the cog symbol at the bottom of your screen.
Click on the 'Main' or 'General' tab on the far left
Under ‘Home Page’, change your current homepage to: http://www.yourlifechoices.com.au/
Click 'Ok' on the bottom left

Google Chrome
Open Google Chrome
Click on the wrench symbol, or the symbol of three horizontal lines, on the top right hand side of your browser
Click on Settings
Under the ‘On start-up’ section click ‘Open specific pages or set of pages’.
Now click ‘Set pages’
Type in the exact website address you want to launch on start up. You can add as many pages as you would like and they will open in different tabs. You may wish to add http://www.yourlifechoices.com.au/ and http://www.yourlifechoices.com.au/extra/trivia to begin with.

Apple Safari
Open Safari
Click on 'Edit' at the top
Click on 'Preferences'
Under Home Page, type http://www.yourlifechoices.com.au/
Close the Preferences tab by clicking the 'X' on the top right of the box

Why would I want to make your site my home page?? It's OK as a general information site that I can check two or three times a week but there's no way I want it opening up and leering at me every time I turn on. Forget the propaganda...... I'm not biting.
