When parents text
| |
Rachel has been chuckling away so much at the humorous offerings from When Parents Text: so much said… so little understood that Debbie nearly had to send her out of the office for disturbing the peace. Rachel thinks some of these text messages are so funny it would be a crime not to share them.
First text messages
Daughter: Can you pick me up from the airport tomorrow?
Dad: Fisheads.
Daughter: What?
Dad: its my only saved quicktext.
Mum: My fingers are saying words. This is amazing.
Daughter: hey mum
Mum: higgy higgy
Daughter: … umm what’s that supposed to mean
Mum: oh sorry that was supposed to say hi how are you. i'm new at this
Dad: :1)}
Daughter: what??
Dad: this is me with my beard, I’m smiling.
Mum: What does “unread” mean on my messages?
Daughter: Hey dad, when are you going to be home?
Dad: Let’s meet up!
Daughter: Are you sending random quick texts again?
Dad: Let’s meet up!

Can you believe people paid to send these texts? That last one cost a dollar, and she still doesn’t know what time he’ll be home! We bet these parents wish they knew how to send text messages for free.
