Keeping the hands at face level and moving the fingers .... must practise ... you never know when one will need to do it LOL

When I worked for Gloria Marshall, Gloria came out from America and each of us Managers and Councillors of her Salons, gave her one Long Stemmed Red Rose until she had a bunch, with us filing up to her in single file. :) and every now and again we had been primed with a signal, to jump up on our chairs (yes we actually did) and shouted out "We are Gloria Marshall Girls and here to help yay" and clapped loudly.

I have many funny stories about that time of my life lol.

I bet in retrospect Phyl you wonder why you did it.  Sounds as thought she was on one big ego trip.

Reminded me of that woman who was on 60 mins a while back....a religous, conniving  nutter who was fleecing her flock of all their money.  She of course has fled the country and is living a life of luxury with her son in Vanuatu I think it was.  Million dollar estate, cars etc.

I never thought people could be so gullible (to believe all the rubbish sprouted by these con artists and to hand over all their assets etc)  but it is proven over and over again when one of these cults are exposed that there are people out there who are totally taken in and many of them are supposedly well educated.

Talk about mind control.

I enjoyed working at Gloria Marshalls because I knew regardless of the hype and money it cost people, I helped many get the life they wanted back.

Managers,including me were put up at lovely hotels in Melbourne with a dinner to match plus breakfast next morning, so it was quite the glamourous job and lets be honest I had three young girls to rear so I counted my blessings as I never had to do anything bad, other than maybe a little ridiculous at times lol but it was all worth it for me.

I saw a bit of it and thought it very stale. Agree with you about canned laughter when there is nothing funny.

I so agree. Canned laughter seems to be an American thing? Can't recall any other nationality doing that with their shows.
