Felt part of the story "We didn't have green bags in my day" when out shopping with my daughter and 10 month old grandson. 

Question how did you manage shopping with 2 Toddlers running around like he is? 

Answer reins on them, and we didn't have Shopping centers and we walked with a pram to each shop even could safely leave a pram and baby outside of a shop in the village in those days.

All mod conveniences today but so much simple enjoyment is lost when a car is needed to get anywhere needed rather than being a walkable distance. Today to go for a walk, on a bus or train for a child is a big adventure when for our children it was a simple everyday occurrence.

our children could splash in puddles while walking on a rainy day, today's kids don't get wet straight into a car and out again in undercover parking.
