Motorists at risk due to potentially faulty airbags

Just had a email from the Royal Automobile about this risk.

It's cars going back to the late 1990's so check if yours is at risk.

There's 30 million cars worldwide to have their airbags replaced.

These are the cars that could have problems.  Apparently it will take 2 years to produce enough air bags to replace all that are affected.

AlfaRomeo,Audi,BMW,Chrysler,Citroen,Fiat,Ford,Holden,Honda,Hyundai,Jaguar,

Kia.Land rover,Mazda,Mercedes-Benz,Mitsubishi,Nissan,

Other brands Parts and accessories

Peugeot,Porsche,Renault,Subaru,Suzuki,Toyota,Volkswagen,Volvo

Thankfully we traded in our old Toyota Camry in 2011 and we are not affected.   It would indeed be a worry for those people who have to wait around to get the problem fixed.

Did you check the Toyote list for recall 2011 onwards ?
