Naval shipbuilding
What a neat answer it will be if Australia has two shipbuilding yards one in Melbourne and one in Adelaide .
The one in Melbourne is British Aerospace and the one in Adelaide could be Austal of Perth who build for the U.S. navy ..
If they were to Build the British type 26 class frigate Already designed by Bæ and wanted by New Zealand they could have a continues build and secure work for these yards and build corvette style patrol boats as well ...
This would also free the govt to make the best decision on subs not a political one .and avoid the Collins class disaster ...

I think this would be a positive move for SA and the yard in Melbourne to give them continuity of work , on ships already designed but of the very latest technology . And potential exports ..,
