Global temperatures, Climate.

More information is now forthcoming on evidence that the globe is presently not warming.
The was a lot of speculation last year that our global temperature would recover from the huge drops last spring. While there has been some recovery, the overall global temperature trend since 1999 has been the subject of much debate. What is not debatable is that the current global temperature anomaly, as determined by a leading authority on global satellite temperature measurements, says we have no departure from “normal” this month. Given the U.S. Senate is about to vote upon the most complex and costly plan to regulate greenhouse gases, while the EPA suppresses earlier versions of the chart shown below from a senior analyst, this should give some pause to those who are rational thinkers. For those that see only dogma, I expect this will be greeted with jeers. – Anthony
There is also a lot of interesting comment if you scroll down the r'h column of the page.

[quoteThe new litany is that ocean temperatures are rising and rising fast. The evidence of the last five years contradicts them, so don’t look too closely; and don’t look from too far away either, or you won’t see the rise since 1960. ]
Chris Uhlmann ,chief political reporter at the ABC, one journo who states it as it is, said “ The GST will pale into insignificance compared with Rudd’s ETS”.

Must admit I do like this bloke who says it as it is - one of the best we have had on the ABC for many years. Of course they have admitted to left wing bias and said they would correct it - no sign of that with this one exception. Maybe intended - maybe not - but certainly a man who speaks his mind.

As for general silence on the CPRS most do not have a clue what it is nor the ETS nor what it actually means to their individual hip pockets - if and when the facts actually sink in - then they will maybe stir their pitiful brains into action and say 'stop enough is enough' and follow it up by demanding real governance for the people and not for big business.

I mean have you heard the latest spin and lies - that prices are lower that petrol is lower at the pump and that inflation is lower by the government followed immediately by the Reserve bank with inflation is higher than expected and above 3.75% - someone has got it wrong - and I have my suspicions that it is the usual suspect paid by the government to produce the fudged figures that suit the day and both current and past too are at it.

Price for petrol when it was US $170 Singapore and $1.45 a litre here and now it has come down of course but the US$63-$70 a barrel lately has only seen it down to $1.30 at the bowser not enough for the drop in the oil price - but does the ACCC do anything - not enough and not lately.

I feel we are slipping into third world conditions with a government that is far more interested in the third world's plight by throwing our hard earned tax dollars at it to get recognition as a first world power.

What all this means is we need a change of government and not to one of the majors unless they can change which is doubtful so we need a new party to stir them up as they will one of them get voted back in inevitable with compulsory voting which invites the morons with no interest in anything but Big Brother and latest Celebrity to vote.

Liberals can manage money which is their best asset and have in the past done more for the pensioner than Labor - but of course the chorus of denial that will come from that statement reinforces the compulsory voting. rofl.........

More of them are not in favour of ETS at all and many secretly think it is a scam so a change of leader is called for.

We even pay a Minister for Climate Change to feed us the scam ..

I had a foreboding when it all started, now I am outright desperate - future generations as well as us pay dearly for this great mistake and act of sheer folly ...

However, to make you smile, here is a guy from Oregon, USA who found the silver lining:

"I have a global warming plan. I'm going to embrace it. One day I'll have palm trees in my back yard and the Portland area will be tropical little islands when the oceans rise. I'll have beach front property in SW Portland. Tropical!

I'm also going to buy some land in the Aleutian islands for 10 cents an acre. Once the Arctic unfreezes, it'll be the new Alaskan Riviera with the new international shipping lanes from Europe to the far east. And my grandsons will build amazing beach front international casinos and be bazillionairs.

Might as well take advantage, Al Gore is a God."

First the voices of reason were labelled "sceptics" now we are "heretics" if we don't believe in the faith of Al Gore, the false prophet.

 Yeah right Koko said it has become a 'religion'

Like tht one - a bit of brightness in a dark future even Kruddy has written an article saying we have much tolook forward to - higher prices for food petrol and interest rates.

Well not hardly rocket science we always get that when Labor is in power.

Methinks though he is preparing the true believers for the high cost of his ETS rather than reflecting on past Labor misdemeanour's. :zip:
