Abby, yes it is a clever use of the space..but not for this little black duck lol.
Reminds me of the Grand Canyon where they have a glass viewing platform jutting out over the canyon. I understand it is worth going out on it but I just could not do it.

You and my Sweet Thing (maltese pup) would get along well together ... she too suffers from acrophobia ... even hates walking across a railway bridge... the stair steps had to have risers put into back of them so she could not see down before she started using them.
Suppose if you were in the pool you could not see through the water and the bottom
... the trick would be to stay away from the sides :)

Must say it is a brilliant aschitectual use of space
the shallow parts on the roof tops would definitely be OK and somehow I feel you would be safer in the pool than on the adjoinng path.... Read the one bedroom to three appartments start at $1.2 in the complex ... hope for that sort of money the pool is heated.
