For terrorists, "execution" ranks high in my list of deterrents, but I think we must be careful that we dont become that which we are fighting. Having seen how Americans and other nations collect "evidence" and "confessions", there is often real doubt about the guilt or degree of culpability of those arrested. I dont subscribe to the "Shoot 'em all and let God sort them out" philosophy.

On the other hand, your average, garden-variety terrorist is EXTREMELY well versed in his rights and any loopholes in local laws and will lie, cheat, intimidate witnesses, etc., etc. to avoid prison - just so that he can go out and kill more "infidels".

Its going to be a looooong and tiresome battle to overcome these merciless and barbaric zealots. If more of us dont "find religeon", Christianity will go the way of so many other empires in history. Dont get me wrong, from my limited knowledge, there is nothing wrong with Islam as a religeon, its the "conquer the world" crazies who pervert its teachings for their own ambitions.

All I know is I don't want to feed them for years to come!

I have no objection to put all hardened criminals and terrorists into chains and send them out to build roads, etc - they can pay for their own upkeep.

It will be sorted out in the only way they understand.

My husband always says - Nature has its own ways of throwing out the plans of humans and is getting a wee bit fed up with the sheer numbers of humans in overcrowded spots and will send flood storm and pestilence to stop the overpopulation.



Animals do it naturally - stop breeding in bad seasons etc - we don't have that much sense seemingly just have to be taught a lesson.
