Am I the only one who is counting down the hours before I dont have to see, hear ,listen or read all the constant crap that is filling every moment of every day.....?

Lost on this one.....So what's with the 3 days bizzo??

The Libs haven't even launched their campaign yet - believe it's this Sunday....

And as I understand it public campaigning doesn't cease until the day before voting day 1.7.16....

According to the AEC:

"Media blackout Under Schedule 2 of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, which is administered by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), election advertising for radio and television is subject to a ‘blackout’ from midnight on the Wednesday before election day to the end of polling on the Saturday. The blackout does not include the internet."

So last day for political ads in the media (except the internet) as I see it is Wednesday 29 June 2016.

Thanks for that RNR got it wrong but thought it was from midnight prior to voting day...

But given that the internet seems exempt from this blackout and that every MP in the country as far as I can glean has facebook and twitter accounts, pretty sure the spin and BS will continue right up until someone is claimed a winner...

Nothing will ever get solved whilst there is such mudslinging and personal attacks coming from all sides Hola,

They can't agree on anything to better the country, and I am sure even if one side thinks it's a great policy the other side will discard it simply to for the sake of it..

I'm glad they don't all live in my house..We would all starve before any agreement was made as to what we were having for dinner.... :/ lol

Hahaha Thea....Not only can we share bright happy comments but we can also share happy umbrella's too...and room for Hola and RnR in between us...

I will do all you ask and by the time I get back all the good "Good Grief" posts will have abated and hopefully it will drop the "G" and my head will be full of the visions of the "Good Reef".....

As far as the Brexit goes -- if all the heads of the countries wanted them to stay in -- Obama even went o the UK as did a few of the other leaders -- if they all wanted it to stay as was -- I reckon it says it is time to get out,as they would be all for the big banks etc. David Cameron will go and that has to be a good thing what a &^%$* he is

Ted ,all it takes to achieve that look of such deep sincerity Is a good lavative the night before .The struggle to contain things untilla "Powder room"is available,can make you as sincere as all get out
