Just thought I would let you know that you can get 0.25% more at ANZ--not sure about other banks see here--it is not made known by the bank unless you ask.

Senior Card holders can earn bonus interest of 0.25% p.a3 on ANZ Term Deposit investments of $5,000 up to $100,000 with interest payable at maturity.

To apply for an ANZ Term Deposit with bonus interest, visit your nearest ANZ branch and present your Seniors Concession Card.
