For Q'lders

And no doubt coming soon to a State near you.
The Green cult demands it's tithes.

If you want to sell your house, you will have to pay about $500.00 to have someone check the house for a... wait for it......

A SUSTAINABILITY DECLARATION.

QUEENSLANDERS selling their homes will soon have to complete a 56-point questionnaire detailing the property's environmental credentials.

Laws passed in State Parliament last night introduced the so-called sustainability declaration, which was criticised by the Opposition as adding unnecessary red tape.

Before being able to offer a property for sale, home owners must fill out a form describing its energy and water efficiency, including whether or not it has solar power, a gas cooktop, insulation, water-saving shower heads, or a rain water tank."

How stupid--what with stamp duty etc who can afford to sell --or buy

Surely if you are buying a place you can see with your own eyes what it has or hasn't

We will go under with all of these regulations and stupid costs ..............Its enough to make one want to leave the Country or at least to vote them out .....state wise and federally ..............roll on the elections ................ :coolmad:

The States are broke--and so they will be coming up with all sorts of ways to get money from all of us--I would hate them to be running my house hold--they sell off all the assets etc as well.

However the other mob were not much better for the working class

PlanB, the other mob may not have been much better, that's always a personal opinion to which we are all entitled, but they here in Victoria at least, pulled us out of the rust bucket we were left after Cain/Kirner.

Now, QLD and NSW are broke as you say, and Victoria is running up huge debts... and one wonders what has happened to the $$$billions they have received from the GST.

The health system here in Vic alone is being run into the ground, and I see advertisement after advertisement telling me how wonderful the Vic govt is. The money they are spending on ads would pay for so many services.

The Labor govts have been in power in all States for a decade now, except of course, recently, WA).........more than enough time to get things right.

This latest grab for money from the Qld govt is merely the start of what is shaping up to be the biggest economic disaster we'll see in our lifetime. The grabs for money under the guise of GREEN policies will devastate us all.

It's not a policy in isolation.

In the end,it won't matter what section of society one belongs to...working class or whatever.

You are so right Koko--the hospital in NSW is already into the ground and has been for decades--it was when my husband was ill and he has been gone now for 22 years. The GST sure has taken a lot of money out of our pockets and like you say WHERE has it gone! They spend so much on tell us how good they are--(their opinion) and if this GWarmer tax goes ahaead God help us all!

Regional Qld households are set up for poverty, thanks to the State Gov.

We are still in the grip of drought and need water to be pumped up to the Range. Anna Bligh's company do not think it is their responsibility to provide water for the population but agreed to pay 40% of the price of the pipeline - but

now they refuse to live up to their word. From now (Nov.09) every household have to pay $640/p.a. water-access ...

I ask you, how a pensioner suppose to survive? Due to Peter Beattie's forced amalgamation our rates went up, our water-bills went up, our electricity went up and now this! The pipe-line isn't even connected, need to be used only in time of emergency but the water-access bill have to paid regardless. If this is not daylight robbery I don't know what is.

On the top of everything Bligh is selling the state assets. They all should be jailed no less, they are corrupt to the core.

It really does make you wonder what we will have left what with all the factories etc going off shore and importing all our food and goods from O/S and selling off assets--we will be the 3rd world country down the line

I think there is one point people seem to be overlooking.......The majority of queensland people put the premier in office...........are we just a small voice crying in the wind?

Maybe there waasn't much of a choice? Never is.
