If that ghastly film "LaLaLand" takes out the honours, I will know all the judges of the oscars are floating around in it.... :(

la la land was a beautiful movie.

surprised you hated it

Terrible acting, very weak lead actress, dancing pathetic, storyline very disjointed..with a miserable ending..

I was bored after the first half hour Raphael,

The saving grace was the jazz.

dancing was great

lead actress excellent

yes story line was a bit disjointed but added to the fun of watching the movie

and lastluy , must all movies have happy endings. That's not how real life is

in sone ways it was a happy ending - he got his jass bar and she became a famous actress, and married a nice bloke

gee - youre fussy

I sure am Raphael. I go to the movies to see fantasy,..If I want realty I watch the news, I don't like that much either...

But if we all had the same opinions of every movie shown , there would be standing room only in the cinema's...or a mass of empty seats. :)

I have to agree with Raphael, La La Land was just beautiful. I loved everything about it. People thought it was going to be one of those Hollywood blockbuster musicals, but it was a beautiful love story. It was about life and what we perceive what happiness is all about. You have to follow your dreams because if you do what the other one wants, you will never be happy. In the end they each followed their dream and they were happy. I gave it a 5***** rating. Music was fantastic.

NO NEED TO WORRY CRANKY  ALMOST BUT NOT QUITE

Shock as La La Land mistakenly named best picture winner

The most coveted award of the Oscars descends into chaos, with an unprecedented blunder seeing La La Land mistakenly named the Best Picture winner, instead of Moonlight.

Looks like a right Wallyup Sandi..lol..

I think everyone at the award night was in La la land after all the shermozzle..

But I'm happy..:)

i am desperatly waiting to see LA LA LAND,    been to long since a musical came out,   i just dont seem to get time,    but might make the effort next weekend,   have taped the awards,   will watch later,

I agree,Hidden Figures was excellent.  The shorts of La La Land was enough, yawn

Don't listen to the boring farts Cats

go see La la land

its a beautiful movie

I went with my ballroom dance teacher. She loved the dance sequences and thought they were very professional

i thought she and the movie were awesome

dont take your  hubby, go with your boyfriend

La La Land was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Boring and corny! So glad it didn't win.

Hidden Figures was excellent and being based on a true story was educational for me because I had never heard of those brilliant women who had to overcome racial prejudice and sexism to succeed.

I had not heard of Moonlight before the awards because it hasn't been showing in any of my local cinemas. Has anyone seen it?
