Petition to the Governor to sack NSW Labor Government

The Daily Telegraph are asking for signatures for their petition to kick out the NSW Labor Government who as we all know, are a complete joke.

We the people call on Her Excellency Professor Marie Roslyn Bashir AC CVO, the 37th Governor of NSW, to dissolve Parliament and bring on an early election.

We make this request because of the NSW Labor Government's continuing mismanagement, incompetence and factional in-fighting.

To allow the Government its full term, until late March 2011, would be a serious disservice to we the people, who have suffered too long.

If NSW is to be rebuilt as the Premier State, urgent action is required.

The time for that action is now.

Thank you for supporting this petition. May the Governor respond favourably.

Who knows, it might help.

It is obvious that the labor government in NSW would be wiped out in any election.

They have made a bigger mess of things than the National Libs.

I don't know enough about the NSW opposition to know if they are much better (I do not know enough about NSW politics)

It is up to the voters as we still live in a democratic country.

I for one, would certainly back any move to get rid of this joke in NSW. BUT, With our fixed term election, I am not sure that there is any legal way that Governer Bashir can dismiss the elected Government, before March 2011. I have heard both sides say yes & no, but, other than being hopeless & a total embarassment to the Premier State, they have not been in breach of the Constitution, nor have they done anything wrong, other than to point out some very good reasons why the voters of NSW, in the last election should not be allowed to vote in the next one. I will be watching with great interest, for an announcement from our rather attractive new Premier, that she is dismissing the services of Rees 16 new spin doctors, at a saving of well over $2 million per year. I wonder if Joe Tripodi will allow it???

It seems to be general knowledge that the constitution wouldn't allow for that to happen.

But in any case, I wouldn't like to see them go to an early election.

Why on earth would anyone want to take over at this point in time??

If some thought the Fed Opp job was a poisoned chalice, it pales in comparison to NSW situation.

They'll probably still vote Labor back in, that's what they do! So, frankly, NSW, you wanted it ......live with it.

Koko, a very interesting comment. I know that a week is a very long time in Politics, BUT, I have an unopened bottle of Wild Turkey, that says that even the idiot voters in NSW could not put Labor back in March, 2011. The only way that Labor might win the next election would be to put the most unpopular politician in Australia, Frank Sartor, at the helm & it is now too late for that. We currently have, probably, the most useless shadow ministry in state political history, but I don't think that even this mob could lose. Is it a bet???

Party poopers, does that mean you won't be signing the petition, who cares if it's not constitutional.

Just bring it on for me to sign. BUT, is the bet still on????

Here's the link for the Telegraph petition to kick out the Labor Party. They are so hopeless they couldn't run a chook raffle.

Yes the bet's still on, I've got a memory like an elephant.

Toot, no, not me. I want to see just how deep into the mire they can go. They deserve all they get.

Innes...hmmmm...not a gambler...but we'll see. ;-)
