PM's personal website gets a Scotty Doesn't Know 'makeover'

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has been a busy man since he won the top job after the toppling of Malcolm Turnbull, so it’s no wonder he may have forgotten a few housekeeping  tasks – such as remembering to renew the licence for his website scottmorrison.com.au.

Unfortunately, an internet troll saw an opportunity and took it over and this morning it was playing a rock song Scotty Doesn’t Know.

"So, the PM forgot to renew his website and it expired today,” Jack Genesin wrote on Facebook last night. “Most fun I've had with $50 in a long time.”

The song by American band Lustra about cheating had its heyday after being included in the 2004 teen film EuroTrip. The first line is: "Scotty doesn't know that Fiona and me do it in my van every Sunday” with the chorus repeating the line “Scotty doesn’t know”.

At the time of writing, Mr Genesin’s version of the website remained live.

As could be expected, the stunt captivated social media.

“If Scotty Doesn’t Know doesn’t become one of the parties (sic) election songs I will be very disappointed,” wrote one Twitter user.

Ha ha ha, that’s hilarious. Love cheeky Oz larrikanism :). Unfortunately it has been taken down but I had a listen on YouTube.

SCOTTY DOESN’T KNOW - SCOTTY HAS TO GO.....

LOL

So childish

Renewing a domain name? Scumo has enough trouble finding his bum with both hands.

You can talk - look at the size of yours

lolololol - now that's funny!     :-)

Foxy, do you really think that was a nice thing to say about another poster? :((

To whom are you speaking anyway?????

And a message from the new owners:

Secure Your Digital Assets ... LOL from me.

Congratulations to Dr Phelps. This will teach a few people a good lesson. Soon Scott Morrison will be dancing to another tune.

Agree my friend. They paid the price for rolling Malcolm. I like both Kerryn and Dave, so not too bothered.

I believe Kerryn is Liberal at heart though and will be interesting to see how things play out.

Yes Agree with you for once Banjo!       How many more votes to count?

I do like Kerryn..however I think she should have waited before claiming victory..

I am really surprised at all the confusion..would be nice to hear a proper result sooner rather than later..

You know what they say Sophie, do not count your chickens etc.

The PM was hoping to attract the large Jewish population in Wentworth by telling them he's moving the embassy to Jerusalem. Many did not buy that.

This is a sight we don't see too often..Scott Morrison and Bill Shorten come together in apologising to Australia's child abuse victims.

I was glad the PM showed his fatherly and human side when he choked up speaking of the pain these people suffered..

Image result for bill shorten and scott morrison speaking about abused children

Also very happy to see both parties appear to be close to striking a deal to end indefinite offshore detention.

There seems to be a lot of positivity in the air..

We should not have any false hope, turning away as a community once again to believe, and leave, the monitoring and care of children in the hands of politicians and government.

What about the imported prevalence of FMG in Australia?  What about the prevalence of molestation, abuse, neglect and child marriage of indigenous children?  Questions about child rights that are howled down in the name of leftists' multicultural idealism.

How can it be that an indigenous child does not always enjoy the same legal rights and legal protections that are taken for granted for other Australian children (excluding some migrant children regrettably)?

What I am saying is that each one of us is obliged to be watchful and should be on the front foot to report and follow up on that report, where incidence of child neglect or other harm is suspected.  The public really cannot leave it to the politicians and bureaucrats, Google Rotherham and other child abuses in the UK, where policing was subject to political (Labour Party) meddling and thousands of children and young people were forced into sexual tarfficking.
