Misogynist Game, or Pot meet Kettle

Solicitors for the federal government viewed thousands of text messages more than four months ago that were sent by former speaker Peter Slipper, including explosive texts laced with sordid references to female genitals, and others showing a pressing interest in the sex life of his aide James Ashby...

Ms Roxon’s office did not respond to Financial Review questions yesterday as to what date the Attorney-General was made aware of the text message spreadsheet, nor whether she was aware of them when the Commonwealth submitted a document to the court referring to Mr McKemmish’s affidavit in June.

NoT Commenting

She did not reply to questions on whether she had read the text messages before the Commonwealth started its abuse of process action. She did not respond to questions as to whether any other member of the federal government might have read the text messages, including Mr Slipper’s gross references to women, in the months before the court released them last week.

Then you should have no need for victim feminism.  Read Naomi Wolfe.

You know nothing about me.  If you did, you would realise that I exercise my choice in choosing not to let spiteful abuse affect me.  Emotional blackmail is like water off a duck's back.

For your part, you could have chosen not to add the sledge at the start and end.  What could have been a contribution to discussion became just another vehicle and excuse to vent bile against a man.  That questioned your cedibility, again.

Oh please, don't preach to me about feminist literature. And don't preach to me about sledging. You have that mastered. And what the hell are you talking about - emotional blackmail??

"For your part, you could have chosen not to add the sledge at the start and end.  What could have been a contribution to discussion became just another vehicle and excuse to vent bile against a man.  That questioned your cedibility, again." What a load of garbage from the man who casts the first stone.

Koko, I expected nothing else from you...poor Nautilus!  Essentially, I have seen nothing except a US style fascist view of politics and life being espoused by you and protectionist attitude toward certain commenters.  Even when they spit poison about woman....some (not I, of course) would consider you a traitor to all the children and woman who have been raped and abused by the male gender.

Innes, I did expect more from you....Nautilus is essentially an US style élitist and can on occasions argue his point of view effectively.  However, when it comes to women, he has demonstrated time and again that he is a mysogynist and hence has problems concerning women.  It is also obvious that he IS a TROLL to any woman that disagrees with his misogynist views of women.  The proof of this is to read through his responses above which I find particularly offensive.

Jaywalker & AmandaR, I sincerely apologise for the verbal abuse you have sustained from Nautilus.  I tend to refer to Nautilus as NautiLass when he gets like this.

OnTopic - the Slipper thing is merely politics. Abbott was a flea to Slipper, so Slipper accepts the Speaker appointment. Labor gets more numbers and has to rely on one less independent to continue governing. Labor (and any other party for that matter) obviously would turn a blind eye when it helps them govern more freely. Abbot obviously wants to bring Slipper down and out of the speakers chair for exactly the same but opposite reasons, to restrict Labor from governing.  So Slipper is an ex Liberal & a flea, so what, there are many fleas on all sides of politics.

And another one who assumes his/her (or now in the gender neutral age we're entering, are we all classed as it) opinions matters to others.

I just adore all the really  profound replies from dear ole Fwed.

Mussitate, you have already amazed my 5 generations od Australian forebears by declaring that I am actually an American.  Let me give you some more to post your unquestionable opinion.  Gillard is our worst PM since Fraser.  Fraser was our worst PM since Whitlam & Whitlam was our worst PM since Federation.  According to you, the only way that can be proven to not make me a misogynist is to delete Gillard.  But if I do that, I am proving, by your standards that I am a misanthrist.  Of course I could leave them all in & prove to you that I am actually a misanthropist.  In actual fact, I don't give a rats about their sex, my opinion, as above, still stands.  Just to muddy the waters a little more, I believe that Nicola Roxon is the worst Attorney General in our brief history.  Does that enthasise that I am a misogynist or does it also mean that I am actually a Nazi Jew hater?

I must take the opportunity to make a comment about Slipper.  I personally believe that he is all sorts of scum.  BUT, he has apparently been a very worthwhile & effective Federal Member to his Electorate.  I vagually remember that was what he is being paid for.
