Was his "teary" speech of denial in the House all for nothing.

Today he has been charged with the alleged misuse of Union funds to pay prostitutes etc etc.

Ah all the chickens are coming home to roost for Labor by the looks of things and I think there are more charges in the pipeline.

Whether Labor of Liberal if they do the wrong thing kick them out!

Innes, If the end result of Barnetts' brilliant move is to shift the money from federal coffers, to the miners, to refund the extra royalty back to the miners, So the brilliant moves will cost all taxpayers to pay for it. if that is the case and it was a labor premier the uproar would be tremendous.

seth, you are getting the more important things like tax income mixed up with politics.  If you think I am going to argue with you about that fact, you are wrong.  The biggest problem that we have as voters is that most of us can see no wrong with our particular Party.  BigVal is only 90% correct with her statement that you only have to follow the money.  The only time that this is incorrect is where the vote is more important.  If we have not had an Election by the end of this fiscal year, Barnett will have done more damage to the Labor Government that Abbott.  Barnett has effectively made certain that the Government cannot achieve a positive Budget, this year.  W. A. has the majority of the older & very profitable mines.  Barnett has hit them with an almighty rise in Royalties & they don't care, because it will all be refunded by the Federal Government.  The Treasurer is rightfully furious with Barnett & there is not a damn thing that The Government can do about it.  The Political Parties use loyalties to beat us all the time & the only way that the people can ever win is to actually play the game of Politics back.  Personal Loyalties will defeat us in this game everyday.  I know how the Seniors' Party can win against either Government, but I am the only person, in Australia, banned from joining the Party because I tried to tell somebody the facts of life.
