Life can be short.and end suddenly.

Our second son and his wife and youngest daughter left on Friday for a fortnight at Perambula, three days prior she had twisted her ankle and fractured three bones and a toe in her foot and her foot was in plaster. This morning had a distraught phone call from our son,           After two good days his wife collapsed unconscious, he did CPR until the ambulance arrived but she never revived, a blood clot had travelled from the toe to the heart causing cardiac arrest. It has had a devastating affect on all as she was very well and healthy and it has been a great shock. She was only in her early fifties.               Life is Short, make the most of it. No one knows what lies ahead.

Yes I thought the same Maybe Davey has Aspergers or some such and is unable to show ANY apathy at all ?

maybe the lonely females on here are screwed in the head.

How could you prossibly translate what I said into something bad.......bloody morons.

Seth My sincere condolences and prayers for you and your family.  What a  terrible shock to you all. May the Lord comfort you all and bring you His peace and love as you go through this loss.

I thank you all for your kind thoughts, it wasn't a good day yesterday as you can imagine, Janette's three daughters and a son are still distraught,I hope their pain will ease as time passes Thank you again.

Seth I'm not trying to be nasty at all......just stating what I believe to be true. The big fellow upstairs says when your time is up.

Davey I understand and take no offence.

I am so sorry to hear your news Seth. Such a difficult time for everyone and the only things help are the good memories, and time, but it is not easy.

God bless all the family.

Phyl.

Thanks Phyl for taking the timeout from your own concern.

Saying Goodbye to a lovely daughter in law, mother of four, wife and friend.     I think what makes it hard to accept is knowing the pain her children and husband will slowly go as through as time passes, It was a private service on Monday morning and Celebration of her life held at their church in the afternoon, Their were tears and joy My son was able to talk about their lives as teenagers when they met in a youth group,   "Youth for Christ" and their courting days, but broke down at the end recalling the tragic night of Janette's collapse and applying CPR to no avail. and the shock of her passing.  The three daughters all gave a talk about their Mum, even though very distraught, the son was unable to speak. The Church was overflowing and her work for the church was on display so people could appreciate just how she was deeply involved.

When I Die, I want your hands on my eyes;I want the light and the wheat of your beloved hand to pass their freshness over me one more time to feel the  smoothness that changed my destiny. I want you to live while I wait for you, asleep     I want for your ears to go on hearing the wind, for you to smell the sea that we loved together and as for you I loved you and sang you above everything.

May the peace Of God be with my son and his children.

Seth My apologies for the late post, but I was out all day and have just got to read YLC.

The funeral sounds like a wonderful tribute to your daughter-in-law and her faith.  You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers.  The loss is so hard, but you and your family have the comfort of knowing the parting is not forever. She is with Jesus and you will all be reunited in His time.  Bless you all.

"Weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning." Ps 30:5

Thanks Taskid.
