Who wants to really commit to losing excess weight by Easter?

Not that hard just have to eat within the allowed calories for yourself and put it in here every week :)

I was a Councillor and then a Manager at Geelong Gloria Marshall Figure Salon Geelong some years back now :) and helped really large people get down to a size they wanted to be.

Main thing is to commit completely to doing this and being truthful and sticking with it and ureka by Easter 10 kilos gone forever.

No I am not trying to lose any weight as been 56 kilos for my (5ft 4in) around 163 cm  for years and do not want to lose weight but I have heaps of real tips to help others. I eat 1800 calories a day and if I go over just cut back next day but I am SO used to enjoying the 1800 it just becomes a way of life and anyone wants to learn how, join in for an interest, but have to be dedicated to really losing the 10 kilos by Easter. Ask your Doc. if it is o.k. if you think you should as always a good idea.

Willing to put your starting weight in? and how much lost each week? and how many steps or exercise done every day? Think you cannot exercise? even standing rather than sitting is an exercise and heaps of little things we can all do every hour.

Need a reliable set of scales and be prepared for portion sizes to change but other than that - all good.

If nobody wants to do this nothing lost just good for those want to lose 10 kilos and then progress from there if you want

Lets have a wall where we can put the person's name in lights If they succeed losing the weight by Easter they say they will :)

BTW lov a piece of fruit? 100 cals. in a medium apple - half is a pice of fruit :)

1 orange 100 cals. 1/2 is a piece of fruit

Same with Bananas 1/2 makes a great sandwich but instead of 2 slices of grain bread just one slice = a sandwich :)

A great  breakfast is a poached egg on a slice of wholegrain bread and just 200 cals.

Have a great day folks.

Thanks Phil, you've got me thinking, not making any promises, but seriously thinking about eating right and moving more, I think I'm gradually turning into a lazy old bat.

Seggie.  Hello to you all.  It's not the size of the plate with me, Phyl. It is my hands reaching out for cakes and biscuits. I know how to lose weight but I'm now at the uncontrollable age of sticking paper all over the mirrors and not looking in shop windows. Sorry.  Forgive me for being weak.

My dear friend not one cover or dress or outfit fits everyone and it is what is inside any person is the most important. Who cares what anyone does as long as they are happy.

Some people just need to lose a bit of weight for their health but in reality what is right for EACH PERSON is the right way to go. You are not weak at all just comfortable in what you want to do. I am happy with the way I live each day and enjoy the challenge :) but then I am a bit weird anyway lol.

I do not even notice a lot about what people wear, or body image and when I go to someone's home I only really look at anything I am actually shown (sorry except for one friend who has SO much all over the floor just have to look or fall flat on my face) but she is who she is,  and does not like clearing up so when I am invited to her home I accept this is Jo.

Hugs Seggs.

I have been keeping notes on what I eat each day since my first response to this thread, I weighed myself yesterday and I have lost half a kilo. The only thing I have done differently is to get on the treadmill for half an hour, five days a week. I seem to have been to a party or BBQ every second day for the last two weeks and I have eaten so much stuff that isn't good for me. I am puzzled because my input has surpassed my output by far. Perhaps I should just get the scales checked.

It is surprising how just 100 calories less a day or 100  calories burned off every day does over time amount to a good weight loss with very little pain :) er 100 less cals. a day + just 100 walking on the walker a day and ureeka lol.

I wonder how many folk have eaten whipped Coconut cream with a bit of honey or sugar or sweetener and a few drops of pure Vanilla. It tastes just like dairy cream and heaps less fat and great for me now as recently I went off dairy. Wow can you believe this? it is a miracle - here comes whipped cream on just about anything ( with a bit of restraint of course) lol

just use the THICK part of the Coconut cream from the tin to whip and cold at that and the bowl  cold from the fridge - the milky stuff is great in a lunch smoothie.

1 cup of coconut cream (from the tin I mean) with the same size 2 cups of good grain flour or any flour but HAS to be self raising and a bit of salt fantastic low fat and even good for you pastry to make absolutely anything requires pastry but healthy stuff. Use a bit more flour to roll or pat out if too wet.
