A Better, Fairer Lotto.

I would like to see an Australia wide survey to see what the majority of people would prefer regarding the following. Lotto Jackpots. When the jackpot reaches say $20 million, cap that as first division and any money over and above be spread over some of the other divisions. I know the Lottery commissions think they know best, but I also think that seeing as lotto is for all Australians, then it should be run to suit all Australians. 30,40,or 50 million dollars going to one winning ticket might be good for the publicity machine, but 30, 40 or 50 extra very happy winners would be even better. The Lottery Commissions seem to want wield a big stick on this issue regardless of what most of us would prefer.

If anybody cares to read my original comment I said, "When the jackpot reaches say $20 million, cap that as first division and any money over and above be spread over some of the other divisions. ". Frankly I think $5 million should be good enough for first Division, but of corse the Hierachy at the Lotteries only want sensationalism, not excellent value.

GOOD LUCK SIMMO, LETS HOPE WE BOTH GET A LITTLE,

Yeh catsahoy, Mother has a 50 X system 7 withs 14 others at the local papershop. If she jags 1st Div I will get her a new toaster, and me a new Boat, Motor bike and 100 inch TV, that's why people call me Golden Heart.

quote YS "If anybody cares to read my original comment I said, "When the jackpot reaches say $20 million, cap that as first division and any money over and above be spread over some of the other divisions. "

I did read it but misunderstood, sorry.

I go along with maybe the lowest prize which is maybe $16 could be $50 or 100. Lower the top one (as you say cap it) but raise the div 4, 5 & 6.

Well I have 3 * system 10s and 2 * system 11s via a shop syndicate tonight but won't complain if I have to share the $30 million with someone else  :)

Yes fwed, as I said above I am happy to share it with my wife as well, in fact I would even go as far as to say, I would throw in a new frying pan for her as well.

" I would throw in a new frying pan for her as well."

Is it really necessary to go to that sort of an extreme. I would buy her some new tools and a new mower. Maybe even take her window shopping.

To tell the truth after 53 years married, I really do know how far I can go.

Tell you what Young Simmo this little thread of yours has got some legs!

Good one mate,51 replies, you must of hit a chord with a lot of similar minded people.

Great minds think alike! Me and you that is...hahahaha.
