Coles selling dented cans

 I am wondering why Coles at Christies Beach  SA are selling badly dented cans of food,I have emailed head office explaining that these can could cause some illness as the can seal maybe damaged ,but still on shelves this AM,I pull them out  and put on the wrong shelf to bring to the attention of the shoppers

I used to pick up cans without thinking, until my wife bashed me over the head a couple of times for not bothering to check if they'e dented

jessej, dented cans are also appearing in Coles over here in WA, presumably buying cheap stock to keep prices down without thought for the consequences.

Yes its common here too,but not discounted,but very dangerous all the same.

What the hell is dangerous about a dented can???

Geesh you are a race of nervous misguided dick heads.

The tin plate inside cracks and you get poisoned off em Davey,not joking mate!

Its mild steel under the tin and it reacts with any acid or water,it can kill you,dented tinned food cans are the biggest cause of botulism Davey,fair dinkum!

Davey when you pay full price you expect a perfect can,Westfaemers just want to make money now they own COLES,not like the good old days
