WHO DRINKS TEA?

We all have at some point, tea would have to be one of the most refreshing beverages ever put on God's Earth,it is nectar of the Gods,Ambrosia!

I suppose all Poms drink it,all Aussies too,and the different types of tea is just unimaginable, the varieties, wether teabag or loose leaf, warm the pot first,a ritual performed with each brew!

I love tea,Queensland Nerada is a favourite but the flavour goes through subtle changes depending when it is picked, different flavour for each season, its a unique taste.

Whats your favourite cuppa,brew?

I love my "cuppa cha" first thing in the morning,2 cups,English Breakfast Tea,I love it and Earl Grey in the arvo, very soothing on the nerves, nice and sweet.

Not keen on Earl Grey or Lady Grey, tastes like spice, and i think its flavoured with bergamot, had ginger tea but same there, taste!

Gren tea is my favourite

Visited the Madura tea plantation up near Murwillimbah but buy Nerada mostly, another great Aussie product, sometimes it's on special at Coles.

So you like Nerada too,I was in Innisfail in 1980 coming back to Sydney from Darwin and worked at the Mourilyan Sugar Mill for a few months, thats the first time I tasted it,used to buy it loose leaf and it came in  600 ml milk cartons,so i ended up going to the plantation which was in Innisfail, good brew.

Thanks toot2000

I drink a fair bit of green tea in the summer otherwise it's coffee for me... hubby likes the dilmah or Tetleys extra strong and drinks abouit 10 cups a day, I like the liptons flavoured teas in the soft drink varieties, doesn't taste like tea and much nicer ( imo) than the fizzy drinks

I dont mind green tea either but not too much,i only drink that if i run out of milk,i cant drink tea without milk, but the Twinings varieties are good,if i can afford it i buy a little 10 pack of Darjeeling or Russian Caravan tea,at the moment i found a new tea at Woolies, best ive tasted for ages, its called Yorkshire Tea and it is brilliant for the price!

every morning i look forward to my two mugs of russian caravan tea - made with clean tank water.

Thats the way to start your day kika,i miss my rainwater tank, have you tried the Twinings Smoked Tea,now thats different,i think its called Lapsang Souchong, but not sure, but an aquired taste.

When i was prospecting i made billy tea, with a gum leaf and swung around you head 3 times, lol.

yes, billy, i love lapsang souchong, and another chinese tea called yunnan, but that one's hard to get now.

King Billy,

You never cease to amaze.  A connoiseur of tea ... You certainly run rings around me with your knowledge of the different blends.

I love my cuppa,I start with coffee and cigarettes and pills, then tea all day,i am on probably my 12th cup today, easily, have 2 more then Milo before bed.
