Better hygiene may increase alzheimer's risk

are we too clean and sanitised?  this article suggests our high levels of hygiene may weaken our immune systems.

are you getting dirty enough?

I use very few chemicals now, I use a steam mop on the floors and the attachment to steam the kitchen.bathroom and toilet weekly. Things come up beautifully clean and no sticky residue from chemicals.

sheila, I am interested in the type, model, steam mop you have, has it been a reliable one, I believe there is some shoddy ones out there.

Precious,

Did we have the virulent chemicals in cleaning agents that we have today.  I'm sure if radiation hadn't the bad press it has, then we would be seeing this as a first rate germicide/insecticide.
