Have travelled to most asian countries over the last 10 years.Do it yourself style:Lonely Planet and internet resources,book on the Net,No ORGANISED Tours,staying in budget places and seeing the backwaters ,meeting local people,and learning a few phrases of their language.
Being on a pension,always on the lookout for cheap fligts etc,eating where the locals eat .


I am 70 my wife 60,but fairly fit and like walking and hiking on our trips.
