Bogans

If you want a bit of a laugh tune in tonight at 9.30 p.m channel 7Mate (73).  If you are at all offended by crudeness I suggest you don't bother ;).

Yes, these people do exisit in Australia apparently and tonight they are going to crown the winners of the Australia wide Bogan contest.

Saw one of them on the 7 morning show...no teeth (or very little of them) seems to be a common theme amongst those contesting the title.

Showing off the  "girls" is not a problem for one of the contestants.

The Autonomous Region of Bougainville, previously known as the North Solomon Islands, is an autonomous region in Papua New Guinea. The largest island is Bougainville Island (also the largest of the Solomon Islands archipelago), and the province also includes Buka Island and assorted outlying islands including the Carterets. The capital is temporarily Buka, though it is expected that Arawa will once again become the provincial capital. The population of the province is 249,358 (2011 census).

Bougainville Island is ecologically and geographically part of the Solomon Islands archipelago but not, politically, part of the nation of Solomon Islands. Buka, Bougainville, and most of the Solomons are part of the Solomon Islands rain forests ecoregion.

You should be in a fine mood  by 6 am

Not if you're in Brazil sweetie

Guess that would make a difference

Most probably be a bit warmer there too

Just been out with Sweet thing and it is quite crisp out there.

sorry abby,    couldnt help myself,  lol,    but all gone now, hope AUDI have more at the weekend when i go there,    they were a good price to, $2,50 each,    love the stone fruit, i could live on it when its in season,      i probably shouldnt have bought the audi ones as they were from mexico, and i really try NOT to buy imported stuff,  but the thought og mangos was to strong, lol,

Coles have some very nice cherries from Canada presently.

not a real cherry eater ABBY,    the tangelos that are out now are good,   the season doesnt last long,   but they are lovely,         mangos shouldnt be to long now,    its funny, as they are usually quite expensive when first out, but here if you go to the market on a sunday you can get about 3 for $2,   they have to get rid of them.   i have a ball in the season,  if you live near here ABBY its well worth the trip on the weekends,

Cats, they freeze OK for using later.  I always have some frozen.  I use them when making ice cream, so we can have our mangos for winter time.

They have been on sale here for weeks and not expensive either, 2 for $5.00.

Just waiting for my tree to get big enough to have my own but with my luck I'll be dead and gone before the tree fruits.

SOUNDS LIKE ME WITH MY MAGNOLIA SANDI.   it wont loom,   i had a lovely port wine magnolia my daughter ought for me,   it was eautiful, and bloomed for about 3 months of the year,  then they came and put new water meters in and where they dug they disturbed the roots and it died,   but bought myself a MICHALLIA, a small magnolia,   had one flower about 18 months ago, and nothing, it looks healthy and keeps shooting new groth, ust no flowers,     i have never frozen mangos SANDI,    ill try it in the season when they go cheap,  i could eat them anytime,   i had one tonight with an avocado and salmon,   it was yummy

Yes, it's my all time favourite fruit Cats.  In the summertime I make a Mango, Prawn, Avocado  and Paw Paw salad, with a Thai Dressing.  Deeeelicious.  I put it in fruit salad, make ice cream with it, have it with steak, put it in custard.  Make Mango Meringue Pie, use it in trifles, make mango lassi's to drink. Make Mango Chutney.

Like avocado's too.  Very expensive here at the moment.

SANDI,   at our AUDI at the moment avocados are 6 for $4.   a bit small, but nice eating,  how do you do a mango meringue?   sounds great,   i have never used them in cooking,   must do an ice cream with them, love the piclies and chutneys but buy them,  my husband doesnt eat them so cant be bothered for myself, just as easy to buy a jar,   i have all kinds of condiments here,   caramalised onion,   chilli jam[yum]   love those kind of things,

Did see about 5 minutes of it out of curiosity, couldn't take any more, reminded me too much of some of the people on this forum.  Anyway did watch a segment on one of the current affairs programs which one can't remember, about two bogans who are becoming respected wine connoisseurs.  Seems they're coming up in the world, next thing we'll hear, it's fashionable to be bogan!
