Home Made Refrigerator Strawberry Jam with Chia seeds.
Saw this and thought it would appeal to Phyl and others looking to uncorporate Chia seeds.

Funny we were brought up with Pectin and sugar weren't we bit also refrig has made a big difference hasn't it?
Thanks from me too Viv. Easy peasy and healthy as well.
One way I am saving recipes or good tips is just photoing the page on my IPad but this means they are scattered in amongst other photos so am just beginning to put them all into one album, maybe I should make 2 albums 1 for savoury & 1 for sweets on second thoughts.
Thumbs up for this one Viv
It is delicious
I agree and SO healthy. I am so glad Viv. you mentioned using Chia Seeds as we will not be without them now, and that jam is delic. and very easy to make.

This sounds fantastic Viv. I'm not generally a big jam eater but could really go for this being mainly fruit. Will definitely give it a go so thank you.
Ps. When my kids were young I used to make jams with dried fruits (like apricots or peaches) and nothing else. Would soak the fruit for a while and then boil up to a thick consistency, mashed with a potato masher. Would put it on their lunch sandwiches with desiccated coconut. Jam does not have to contain sugar or pectin.
