Vic.politics. Baillieu's remarks.

The stoush in Vic. re Baillieus' outburst against fellow Libs' has descended into shoot the messenger, The Libs attack Labor with vigor over a recording of Baillieu attacking the libs, but gloss over the verballing, as if the libs would or have not done the same

A few twists and turns with this one . It seems odd that the reporter escapes much scrutiny in that the recorder ? was dropped in the first place . A bit casual and why retain the material long after the interview with big ted when it could/should have been transferred to a memory stick or work computer ? I am not suggesting anything other than a casual attitude to the recorder and its safe keeping . As you say both sides are equal in stuff like this .

I take it you too are being hammered with transport ads etc . November election not too far away . Wonder what shaw will do ? Idependent running in old seat , retire or rejoin the libs .

Ass the rest of us don't follow local politics in Vic could you update us on what you are talking about..

ASS is correct

I do not recall anyone needing updates on ICAC in NSW regarding corrupt libs and labor types . It is in the right section , politics .

Sure but the rest of us have no idea what you are talking about ..

You never know unless its from Menzies House Dorian .

Know something Geomac I critise you for the obscene remarks you make. You respond by your feeble attempt at name calling .grow up mate my tvelve year old daughter does better,,

By the way if you are interested in local politics my council woolaha want to put a electricity sub station in the middle of the road leading down to one of my properties . Luckily Philip Adams lives next door and I have got him mobilised . Good mate even though he is a Kevin Rudd supporter and a mate of Murdoch  ,what do you think geo

Dorian

Could not give a stuff either way . Why would I ?

Exacly my feelings about local politics in Vic

Correction Dorian

State politics as against a non event in a council burough . Non event as in even some locals would not give a stuff

Your name caiing shows your lack of knowledge I would be delighted to be Dorian Grey if thAt is what you are implying

he wAs a beautiful young man.

It is a pity that you have never ventured outside your little valley there is a whole world out there you have never experienced .

Ahh dorian you would delight in being a beautiful young man . Whatever floats your boat .

Over half my life has been in the Latrobe Valley and the rest in suburbs close to Melbourne CBD . Its a pity you ventured away from your birth place . Maybe you had no choice or maybe it was to get a better life . Leave behind the poverty or grimness or just to try your luck . I have met and worked with people from all over the world . Know something Dorian ? They all have the faults and qualities that people everywhere have . Funny that you seem ignorant of that fact of life . That is not only a pity its pathetic .

Well lucky you on here you will meet people who experience of the world beyond the Melbourne suburbs ,

Dorian

As usual you have trouble with english language comprehension . I have physically worked and associated with people from all over the world , shared meals and sometimes more . I do not need a virtual online identity to replace a physical one for experience . Lets face it Dorian you are no shining example of the type of person one can experience online . Fortunately you and your ilk are very much in the minority and I can enjoy the wit and stories of our normal members . Long may it be so .

Can. You also talk English ,your pathetic experience of life and your lack of knowledge outside your little village shows in your predudices.

Thanks Seth still don't understand your local politics bit thanks for trying ...

Pete, baillieu was Vic premier who resigned after the Shaw trouble. He vented his anger by saying what he thought of his fellow Libs, to a correspondent? the tape stolen and spread among the libs and labor, instead of lashing baillieu over his angry words, the attack was on the labor for spreading it around, of course the libs would never do that sort of thing, or would they?

Seth

You have put a polite version of the situation but an accurate one just the same .

Let me try one that Dorian will understand .

Ballieu was knifed by his colleagues to keep and secure Shaw because of the one vote majority in the house . Shaw had ran foul of regulations by illegally rorting expenses and improper use of his govt vehicle . Naphine the newly but unelected by the public Premier has done everything in his power to protect shaw but the maverick eventually had to become an independent so he could cause more havoc and protect his backside . Parliament was a shambles and the coalition threw up expensive and uncosted road plans to sway the public . It did not work . No headlines screaming leader knifed , well some . The Murdochracy went soft on the govt , sort of . Thats the nature of the Murdoch beast . Sound familiar Dorian ? One vote parliament , leader knifed , malfeasance by a lib ?

I am sure it's very interesting to Viics  .,
