"THE BACHELOR" - 'The Project' more 2nite (Tues.)
Commencing tonight: 7.30pm Chn. 10
With all the doom/gloom and total "horror" going on in the world at present - I am tuning into "The Bachelor" tonight - I know I know- another "crappy" reality TV show full of "ditz's" and ridiculous "stuff" - BUT am going to "check it out" anyways! :-)
....Meet Real Estate Auctioneer... Blake Garvey. At 31 years of age - Blake is ready to settle down and share the rest of his life with the woman of his dreams!
Will he find love amongst the 24 beautiful Bachelorettes?? lol lol lol
If I can continue to watch it long enough - I'll let you know!
I saw the interviews on The Project and thought he was really insincere but that was not surprising because I posted earlier that I thought he was very "held back" and monotone in voice and emotion. So now we know he was acting throughout - even though he says he wasn't it doesn't ring true. I was surprised that Sam said she is going to keep the ring and wear it. Personally I would be wanting to get rid of the bad vibes it carries. Having a flashy ring on her finger obviously means more to Sam than the negative connotations it carries.
Quite a few of the girls expressed they had fallen in love with him in that artificial environment. I wonder what that says about love (or the notion "in love") and what it's all about? I suspect that "falling in love" in general carries a large component of falling in love with one's image of another person. Even though I wasn't keen on Jess I think she was the most level headed of the final bunch of girls. I did respect her refusal to commit to love and permanency without having time away from the show to develop the relationship on a more realistic grounding and time frame.
