"THE BACHELOR" - 'The Project' more 2nite (Tues.)

Commencing tonight: 7.30pm  Chn. 10

With all the doom/gloom and total "horror" going on in the world at present -  I am tuning into "The Bachelor" tonight - I know I know- another "crappy" reality TV show full of "ditz's" and ridiculous "stuff" -  BUT am going to "check it out" anyways!   :-)

....Meet Real Estate Auctioneer... Blake Garvey.  At 31 years of age - Blake is ready to settle down and share the rest of his life with the woman of his dreams!

Will he find love amongst the 24 beautiful Bachelorettes?? lol lol lol

If I can continue to watch it long enough - I'll let you know!

I saw the interviews on The Project and thought he was really insincere but that was not surprising because I posted earlier that I thought he was very "held back" and monotone in voice and emotion. So now we know he was acting throughout - even though he says he wasn't it doesn't ring true. I was surprised that Sam said she is going to keep the ring and wear it. Personally I would be wanting to get rid of the bad vibes it carries. Having a flashy ring on her finger obviously means more to Sam than the negative connotations it carries.

Quite a few of the girls expressed they had fallen in love with him in that artificial environment. I wonder what that says about love (or the notion "in love") and what it's all about? I suspect that "falling in love" in general carries a large component of falling in love with one's image of another person. Even though I wasn't keen on Jess I think she was the most level headed of the final bunch of girls. I did respect her refusal to commit to love and permanency without having time away from the show to develop the relationship on a more realistic grounding and time frame.

...good call Robi - guess it was an interesting "reality/experiment" !  :-)

Blake was on "telephone" with FoxFM  late this afternoon (Fri.) ... - he apparently is seeing one girl from the show - he did not commit in the interview - who it was?

Sam was able to keep the ring - but the jeweller "Bunda" who donated the ring - has agreed to make it into any other "design" that Sam wishes - how nice of them!

Personally, I hate diamond rings. I think they're ugly. I never had an engagement ring and never wanted one.

yeah well - everyone is different - I was thankful for mine at one stage in my life - hocked it - and gave me some nice "financial" $$$$'s when I needed it most - everyone has a story........smiles ................

...just saw Blake on ACA tonight - geez - this "flake" is popping up everywhere! lol - still says he is 'not" with anyone but photo's showed him and Louise at some airport? Oh well - says it's "allll" in the Women's mags. next week - frankly I'm over it - I don't buy mags. very much -  apart from the odd Vogue and Country Style .......oh and Food Idea's sometimes ......Blake is a crashing bore!

...heard on FoxFM that they have it on extremely "good advice" from one of the gals on the show that - Blake confessed (one evening to her in the House...)  he had a collection of "Cabbage Patch Dolls" !!! lol lol lol ...... bit wanky huh??? (unless of course they are worth a bit of money these days and are his "investment"??)   - hahaaa   :-)

They tell me this one is

Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue :)

"Yummy Yummy Yummy and Blake loves you! "     lol lol lol

If you sit back and think about it  Blake did the decent thing in the end.

It was best he did it before they got married and before he strung her along any further,  and he is is paying for his stupidity in asking her to marry him on the show.

Should have done what the previous winner did and not ask for her hand in marriage but wait and see how the relationship developed outside the show.

She was silly to have accepted.

yep - can't disagree with that Rad............but then the producers probably "pushed" for it to happen for "ratings" maybe?  - who knows?

Well Channel 10 are "milking" this to the max! (but then who could really blame them - they invested millions into the show...)

Tonight on "The Project"  - Blake "faces off" with Louise and apparently tells her why "she"  wasn't picked in the end!  :-)

Here ya go Foxy...hot off the press 9 minutes ago.  Yes, it IS cut and paste  ;)

The Bachelor Australia's Blake Garvey and second runner-up Louise Pillidge have confirmed the rumours swirling about their relationship, revealing they are an item and are preparing to move in together.

The reality show couple revealed in a magazine deal with Woman's Day  that Garvey, 31, a real-estate agent from Perth, had expressed his love for Pillidge, 26, in a letter that she opened just days before the series finale aired on television.

They have since travelled to the Thai resort island of Koh Samui to reconnect away from the intense public scrutiny that led to Garvey being dubbed "the most hated man in Australia", according to Woman's Day.

arrrrghhhhhhh - you spoilt it!!! lol lol - just kidding - will watch it anyway......I was thinking actually - that they wil have to get Laurina back surely? To discuss her "horrendous" dates with Blake and the arguments they had? lol lol ..

Wonder why he bothered to propose to Sam then - if he loved Louise?  Weird?  :-) - maybe for "ratings" value?

Missed out ... what happened ?

..well they were at the resort Koh Samui - all lovey-dovey (courtesy of Chn. 10/Woman's Day and that celeb. agent jerk Max Markson (think that's his name?  - who is now Blake's agent...lol)   anyway  Blake had apparently "hedged his bets" a few ways with the women involved in the final "few"!  He had written Louise a letter (prior to publicly announcing his engagement to Sam...) telling Louise words to the effect - that - if anything happened on the show - he really loved her!?? and blah blah blah ....etc.

Chn. 10 got their mega ratings again - and have a "tell-all" interview tonight with Lisa who claims that she was actually contacted by Blake to start a relationship - prior to Louise reading her letter???

Blake (according to the blurb in today's papers...) is in it for "publicity only" and doesn't give a toss about anyone's feelings etc.

No wonder he got called the names he did  - "Blake the Flake/Snake"??  Definitely!  :-)

P.S. The media today also questioned why a "grown man" would have Cabbage Patch dolls on his bed and he has said they were his mother's and she had no where else to put them???? lol lol lol ....yeah right !!!!!

Beyond me how he sucks all those good looking girls in.
