Medibank sale cost of shares

I see this morning that the price set for these shares is to be no more than $2.

I am surprised it is so low and think it would be a good investment if people had a few spare dollars floating around.

People wishing to register for the share sale or get a prospectus can go to:

medibankprivateshareoffer.com.au.

Radish I think you will find there is a $2 price cap for retail investors buying up to $250,000 worth of shares.

The price for ordinary investors will depend on demand.

Dopey strikes again.

Retail v ordinary????

did you pick that up from your years in walls street

Radish

it's not the issue price that determines whether it's a good investment.

Net Assets, P/E ratios Forecast earnings ROCE etc

Bottom line is future earnings growth and therefore future share price.

When I buy shares I always try to ensure the dividends payable to the shareholder are fully franked.

Basically meaning that the taxation on the dividends is paid by the company issuing the dividend.

Thought you preferred fully micha'ed to fully franked.

anyway what happened to that dude?

all of a sudden went ballistic with posts aimed squarely at you.

someone from your dark past perhaps ???

Well I guess we have all heard the story about Cindrella and how at Midnight the coach turned into a pumpkin ??

Maybe it was my dear $eth ??? that threw him the ultimate challenge ???

Or could have been Jaguar's very jealous wife that caught him chatting to another chick???

But it all goes to prove - never ever mess around with a chook.

Who's jaguar and who is his wife?

Someone from my dark past and exciting future :)

Have been a shareholder of a number of companies  for many years and I will take up the offer as I am with Medibank Private.  I made a point of informing myself of how the share market etc worked and have been pleased with my investments up to date.  Had a few which went belly up but overall am ahead.

I envisage these shares will be fully franked but until I see the prospectus,  like others I don't know.
