That would be frightning especially if the eggs hatched inside your house without you knowing.

Apparently that is what happened for one family Gerry.  You would certainly want your house well and truly fumigated before moving back in.

Love bananas but would find that a bit off puting.

We buy a lot of bananas where from?  Give me an A. and a L. and a D.and and an I. :)

Scary! I actually did shop later and the first thing I'm going to do when I get home is to check them!

Not natives here and I hope  our quarantine checks would find them - do we have much fresh fruit and veg from S. America anyway? The odd cane toad has turned up in Perth after hopping  on trucks from up North, tho'.

I once brought home a green tree frog with the bananas  - have nowhere the bananas came from idea but as I have seen that variety in the garden I let this one join them.
