A Sydney restaurant owned by Tourism Minister Andrew Robb and his family is being promoted by a government-funded $40 million, 18-month Tourism Australia campaign that targets 17 key global markets to sell the Australian "foodie" experience to the world.

Can you imagine if a Labor or Greens party member... let alone a Minister did this.  Murdoch and the others Corporate Media would have front page news for TWO weeks, with DEMANDS for an enquiry, etc, etc. 

Well, just look at any Union mismanagement... touted as CRIMINAL and Federal Police investigations implemented.

This is a lot, lot more than a simple 'Conflict of Interest', it is out and out corruption!

Andrew Robb should be asked to step down.... besides he will be making that much money out of his restaurant soon, due to this $40million 18month PLUG world wide, HE WON'T NEED to work anymore!  He could now flog off this restaurant for MULTI-MILLIONS more than it was worth.....errrrh...yesterday!

It is a long time since we've had decent politicians of either major Party -they seem to get in there for their own benefit. Just look at our Post Office being run by one of Rudd's mates who was going to open a bank with him -- look at the Salary with built in Tax Deductions that the post now pays whilst the Post Office is going down the shoot - only this week they've increase our postage. By a strange coincidence the post Office shop is run by no other than Rudd's wife. The Politicians have structured the laws that they can do this.

I don't know why people get so hot under the collar anymore...After reading the article I see no corruption.   He appears to have complied with all that is requiried in declaring his interest.

definition "corruption"  :dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery.
