Another staff member quits working for Ricky Muir

The almost "invisible" Ricky Muir has had another staff member quit.  Sarah Mennie his Chief of Staff has called it a day after only a couple of months.

I wonder when Ricky will also quit!   In my opinion he is completly out of his depth!

Staffers who have quit or been sacked from Ricky Muir’s office since July 1, the beginning of his first Senate term:

July: Glenn Druery, chief of staff, sacked

August: Susan Bloodworth, staffer, quit in protest

August: Peter Breen, senior adviser, sacked

October: Sarah Mennie, chief of staff, quit

Doesn't take much to send some people into megalomaniacs!

IF he did something for his country, we could put up with this BUT he has simply tied up with Clive Palmer and handed his vote over.

He is a lazy bogan who is not accustomed to using his brains.... it appears.

At least if he does not replace the staff too quickly it might save som of the Taxpayer money.

Fair Comment!

Cant see PUP lasting much longer as a group anyway.

Where will it all end with Clive himself in trouble over that 12 mill he 'borrowed' allegedly. But then he may well get off with it as it seems most do when in Parliament.

Not many fall on their sword these days, unlike the days of old when people actually served their country, did their duty for a lot less money, and actually were not on the make  or greed driven.

Minor parties rise and fall. Even some majors go and Labor looking shaky to say the least, only needs a new workers party with old ethics to form and gone. Same with Liberals. So many disillushioned these days.

I have said this for a while BigVal...you cannot carry on the way he does and not expect repercussions eventually.  I expect him to be gone before the next election.

The outcome of this court case will probably decide his fate and reading between the lines I expect Jacquie Lambie will become an Independent as she is not happy with some of the decisions made by PUP.

Yes Radish

Interesting times ahead but I do not think even Jacqui would be foolish enough to desert the goose that laid the golden egg. Then again all she has to do is complete this stint and she can retire on a Parliamentary Pension.... she'll be doing very nicely with that on top of her Army Pension.

Abby, I think you may find she will have to serve more than 6 years to get a pension.   Jacquie Lambie will have to be re-elected for another term and serve a total of 8 years I think it is before she is entitled to a pension for life.

I well remember when Senator Ah Chee retired after only serving nine years and he went out on a $50,000 pension for life.  There was quite a lot of controversy at the time as he was only in his early thirties.
