Three protesters supporting calls to ban facial coverings in parliament have attempted to enter Parliament House in a niqab, a Ku Klux Klan hood and a motorcycle helmet.
The trio from the group "Faceless" were stopped by security and forced to show their faces before being granted entry.
Police also said the men would not be allowed to wear the Ku Klux Klan hood and motorcycle helmet inside.
The man wearing the niqab was allowed to keep his headdress on.
We have a week government - who do not seem to realize we are living in 2014 not some medieval ages - cannot even make law to ensure face is visible in Parliament.
Perhaps niqab should be made a uniform for all our parliamentians.

Seems to me that all of them are scared stiff of upsetting the Muslims due to fact if they dont get their own way tend to get nasty violent etc.
Bullies if not come done hard on will always just go on bullying and so also will Muslims. If they dont get their own way have nasty demonstrations or worse. so too many western governments give in.
Thing is if we keep letting them in a the rate lately, and their women follow the demographic having 8.1 children each to our 1.3 then soon every woman will be rquired to wear the one of thse female head coverings.
According to the UN population website, before it was removed, where they forecast London to be black by 2010 and it arrived early in 2009, they also forecast Australia would have a white minority by 2040.
