....have you ever - 'WONDERED" .. WHY' ...?

You can Google anything/everything you wish online - BUT - there are everyday "things" that sometimes you "wonder" why? .................

Like today - Double breast Chicken Fillets purchased from Woolies/Safeway?  Big enough from a Turkey/or Flying Teradactil and then some.....? Wonders? What are they feeding/injecting into chickens to make them this big? Obviously not nice??

Also -  wonders -  why are Tomatoe's so "tasteless and disgusting" lately?

....also wonders -  why there are a growing number of people who "talk" with their hands - waving them everywhere when they speak??? Tony A - one of the worst!! (Annoys me immensley!)

Just a  "lighthearted look"  into what people may/or may not "wonder" about  .....be it good bad or ugly? lol   .. :-)

Seggie again. Oh dear. You'll have to forgive an old lady but my excuse is that I went out to lunch with the girls. Well, not girls really, oldies like me. What did they put in my coffee?

we are always "the girls"  Seggie - always .......     :-)

SD I wonder why Twighlight Beach road suddenly stops going along the coast and heads inland..

Pete,

Not much out there Pete. The farms are a bit off the actual coast for obvious reasons and are serviced from the Ravensthorpe road.

Twilight has some spectacular scenery and is primarily a tourist drive. It is known as the tourist loop. I live just off West Beach but our actual view is across the bay to the east.

When I had my MG I used to give it a squirt along Twilight in the early morning, plenty of curves and short hills and a spectacular view to boot. Go over the edge would be disastrous as it is quite a drop to the ocean in some places.

Observatory Island is where the French ships l'Esperance and Recherche anchored up in December 1792.

There is some interesting history along the west and south west coast, unfortunately overidden in the history books by one James Cook and his ilk.

Take it easy.

Watching this I wondered if I did this if I'd ever get untangled

lol -  probably as long as it takes me to "throw up" as I continually read "you" and your alter-ego "Fleur's" comments on this site ............. lol lol lol

Have you ever wondered why foxes shouldn't be kept as pets??

Well, the  reason is that the fox - despite being from the same canid family as the domestic dog - is simply not cut out to be a human companion. Compared to dogs, foxes are completely different in behaviour and character.

...more intelligent and honest than you will ever be! lol lol lol

Micha,

We have had a fox and a dingo as pets over the years.

The fox was a real sook and the dingo was one of the most entertaining animals I have come across.

No problems with either of them.

SD

No experience with foxes SD, but friends of mine had a dingo and even the kids weren't afraid of it. Dingos get a bad rap.

....the "oracle" has spoken - lol lol lol

You have "no life"  Micha/Fleur" ??? You always on here day/nght? lol lol lol  - I have not been here for almost two days BUT here you are answering me - the minute I post a "comment"  - here you are!!??  You seriously are such a "sad" person ......................

Now you've broken me 'eart. On here day and night because I looooong to hear your melodious tones. Now, I'm only the shadow of a man

It's all right Foxy.

I will give your ears a scritch.

SD

lol - love you too SD -  I had a great week-end - so goodnight from Melbourne town! xox  Take is easy - smiles wickedly ................  :-)

Micha,

Our dopey dingo used to go sailing, Daffy was her name, she used to sleep on the kids beds, never a worry.

The little fox was more like a moggy, a snuggler. A delightful little animal.

SD

OoH! SD

I should like a scritch too but please do not let $eth see it :)

Did you have Daffy from a young un SD? It sounds very domesticated.

SD scritching Foxy. You lucky gal you

Oh! Look at the smile on the face :) Really enjoying it.

...wonders "why" - I am becoming increasingly intolerant of people lately - also I am starting to wonder why things that never bothered me in the slightest are now starting to really annoy me?  I have always considered myself to be a pretty "laid back" kinda person - but lately......??

It's "stupid" things -

Weather presenters that keep saying "Let's see what it's like in "your neck of the woods"?"  ...   Argh!

Cashiers -  that ask you (when you have just purchased 6 plus items...) "Would you like a bag for those"?   (Nah love - just gonna grow another couple arms to carry them!) .... Duh!

Last but not least ...the annoying habit that prompted this Topic in the first place......the ever INCREASING number of people who TALK WITH THEIR HANDS!!! (Watch them when you are out - on TV - everywhere!!!)  Drives me insane!!!!!!

Therapy session finished ....   :-)    (for today anyway....) lol

Many reasons why that happens foxy -- age , loss of memory, hearing loss, loss of teeth, just general wear and tear !!! It only happens to some though, a reassuring thought!!

Menopause perhaps?

...am starting to think "Micha" may be part of your immediate family Robi?  You have not posted ONCE on this Topic and yet here you both are - minutes posting from each other with equally   ignorant remarks!  Ah well least I can rest assured you at least read my posts  - ignorant though your replies may be!  Have a nice day!     lol lol lol .....

Thinking, thinking, she's thinking, must be very hard when there are only two brain cells to work with! Anyone would welcome Robi into their family--you? they'd run screaming down the road.

...have ya fun - I'm not interested! More intelligent than you in a heartbeat- lol lol lol

Makes you wonder why we are paying this Greens ninny

a taxpayer funded salary. It has been described by DR Gregg as

“It’s a nail in the coffin of common sense.”

GREENS Senator Larissa Waters has urged Christmas shoppers to rethink buying bright pink jewellery or dolls for little girls, linking gender-stereotyped toys to domestic violence and pay inequality.

Telegraph

Well done Larissa Waters

Have you ever wondered why ostriches bury their heads in the sand?

Well they don't bury their heads in the sand—they wouldn't be able to breathe! But they do dig holes in the dirt to use as nests for their eggs. Several times a day, a bird puts her head in the hole and turns the eggs. So it really does look like the birds are burying their heads in the sand!

Wondered how I lived my life without that amazing fact? Thank you Fleur!  All "posts" generously acknowledged      :-)

didnt know that FLEUR,  ALEARN SOMETHING EVERY DAY,

...wonders why "people" believe ridiculous and unfounded "gossip" on YLC?  Bizarre - lol - it's Cyberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Worldddddddddddddddd   lol lol lol
