UNUSUAL DEATHS

My heart goes out to the Family of Phil Hughes and the circumstances surrounding his death are more than tragic ........... but he is a person just like anyone else and I find all this focus and Hero worship unwarranted and more painful than you can imagine.

My own husband died of the exact same injuries. As a Soldier he was not given all these accolaides and courtesys ............ It was up to me to fight and change the laws to save others ...............

So what I am saying in reality One life is worth no more or less than another. My Husband deserved much more than he got. Our family suffered terribly along with our children and I spent years in court.

Could people just stop and think for a moment. Life is dangerous. Accidents happen. If you are alive and living .............. just that act of living is a danger to your continuation of life ANYTHING you do can put you in the wrong place at the wrong time and you could ............. no longer be here - we are always at risk and just prefer not to see it.

For all the time and money spent on this and cricket helmets ........ a lot of time and money could be spent on other things and people who are alive. But please do not disrespect those who have lost their own loved ones .............. by saying Some person is worth more, had more to give or any other thing .............. to their family they are the world.

Once again My heart goes out to the Hughes family. Having lived through this very same thing I know some of what they are experiencing ........... Eventually I had to let go to the insanity of a senseless death for no reason .............. and it can take a very long time ................ but keeping it in the media and showing his pictures on TV etc............. all the time is just enhancing their pain and suffering.

RIP Phil ................. a good life lived well, short but a quality one.

how did your husband get hit with a cricket ball,   during the war?   didnt know they played cricket on the front line,

Was between the first and second innings.

in them days we called it Ww1 and Ww2.

Ww doesn't mean wicket wicket
