The latest in the Clive Palmer "soap opera"

If it was not happening I would think i was reading a John Grisham novel.

Clive Palmer's media, man, Andrew Crook,  now arrested for "kidnapping" an NAB employee in Bali and forcing him to recant his evidence

"Crook and former senior Queensland detective Mick Featherstone were arrested during raids in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast on Friday morning.

They were charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, retaliation against a witness, attempted fraud and obstructing the course of justice in a case involving the alleged unlawful detention and coercion of the NAB executive.

Appearing in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday afternoon, Crook was ordered to surrender his passport, not to approach an international airport and to have no contact with his co-accused.

Featherstone, a Gold Coast-based private detective at the centre of a year-long probe by Queensland's Crime and Corruption Commission into money laundering and police corruption, was also granted bail on the same conditions."

Mr Palmer has distanced himself from this and said nothing to do with him!!!

On the face of it, one can only think he is not very good at picking suitable employees.  It will be interesting to hear more on this one.

What would make Palmer employ someone with a name like "Crook" LOL

I see Clive is trying to blame everyone but the ones arrested.

I do find all this very upsetting ... when you think Palmer was the only Politician who ofered to do anything for the Seniors. With the others we did not even get a mention.

I can imagine though that he would be distancing himself from this fiasco ... things just are not going well for him of late.

Yes,you are right Abby....the name Crook says it all eh  LOL.  Crook by name, crook by nature.

i like your title radish ...... "soap opera" is very apt.
