R S L Christmas day luncheon.
Foxy and a few others asked about the value of this.
190 customers all being served at once was a bit of a mess.
The food was excellent and plentiful served in a go get what you want and as much as you want.
It started with oysters killpatrick and prawn cocktails being brought to the tables followed by half a dozen tables going to the servery together. Heaps of seafoods including smoked salmon/oysters/mussels/ prawns and cocktail sauce but no lemon ???.
The main was selections of ham/turkey/pork/lamb/beef 4 types of potatoes and salads plus vegies.
Deserts were a large display of pavlova fresh fruits sweet mince pies custards ETC but not Christmas pudding ???
It was a bit spoilt by screaming kids roaming around unchecked by parents but on the whole enjoyable.
My son showed his army ID and got his drinks for nothing all day.
Looks as if you had a good xmas lunch enjoyed by all
