Don't have Foxtel Foxy

Oh -  I actually did think of you when I put this on here!  :-(

There were TWO particular stories in this Doco. that blew my mind!!!  I am not a "religious" person in any way or form - BUT -  these two stories just had to make a person "think" ....there is/or has to be some possible "higher force" out there in this world????

I will not bore you with the stories - but - if anyone would like to know I am happy to repeat them!  They were just amazing - sent "chills" down my spine so to speak ....

Also I was unaware that the Doco. was made by Stephen Speilberg....he went to Auschwitz prior to interviewing the survivors and was allowed into a "No Go Zone" unless accompanied by the guards who still surround it - even to this day! - He went on a rainy day - the guards who are there 24/7 said to him - "Put your hands into the soil here"?  Speilberg did - and was amazed ro find amongst the mud of the soil a white substance that just kinda stuck to his hands - he asked the guards - "What is this "white stuff in the soil" ??  They told him - "It is the ashes that came out of the chimneys from the millions of people that died and floated into the ground around Auschwitz - they are still here with us today"!

I would be lying if I said I did not shed a few tears last night!

Maybe it will come on one of the FTA channels soon, Foxy.

I really would like to see it.

...if you would like me to put the two stories "up" I will do so - they were simply amazing/unbelievable!  - I promise to keep them as short as I can.?  If not - I understand - they did turn out to be "happy" after all the 'Pain" and these people are still alive today   :-)

At the end of the Doco. - however - it was mentioned that the next "celebration"  - in another 5-10 years (which it was called) it would be very lucky - if any of the people in this Doco  - would still be alive! So sad........

Foxy... put them up... all the better if they make you think, we do not know everything, even if we think we do. Personally I think there is a lot more than what we can grasp in this life , such as 'WHY" there is "LIFE"

Thankyou Seth and Sandi - yes I will put them up in the next couple of days - I recorded the Doco. so that if anyone was interested -  I could at least make sure my "facts" were correct!   .......    :-)

If you would like to do that then yes I would read them.

It was a very sad time Foxy and if I see the show I will shed a few tears too.

My favourite writer is Leon Uris.  I've read all his books.

i did watch one doco which was on s,b,s, i think,  about 2 weeks ago,  that also had SPIELBERG in it,    he also went there when he made SCHINDLERS LIST,    a very good film,   sad of course,   but i dont think these stories should ever be forgotten,     just to be sure that nothing loke this can ever happen again,

Hey Sandi/Seth - I will be putting up the post over the week-end - I have not forgotten - my life has spiralled outta control this past week - hence me barely being here - nothing to do with me - but a dear friend of 15 years -   has fallen into the most disgusting "circumstances of life" - I have now taken over her 40th. birthday party for her only son  - Fri (tomorrow) on her behalf and am organising the whole thing!  My friend found out early this week - she has like maybe 4 months to live - bowel n ovarian cancer - double-whammy!!!

Dear friend cannot deal with the party or anything right now!

We never know huh? She is going down so rapidly it is frightening! You wonder what it/this "life"  is all about?

FOXY,   so sorry to hear of your friend,    this bloody cancer doesnt pick who it attacks,   i have 3 friends all struck down with it,   hope and pray they find a cure for ir soon,

That's OK Foxy I been kinda busy too this week.

Foxy that cancer is the only one that you don't have symptons with and it is almost or is stage 4 when detected, which is the final stage.

My daughter had a serous tumour and when they found it, it had gone into her lungs, over her bowel and kidneys.  She fought like hell after a prognosis of 6 weeks after they operated and she went 8 1/2 years although on chemo the whole time.

The anniversary of her death is 28th February (1 year).

So tell your friend she has to have a positive attitude, it's hard I know. Barbra was only 36 at the time.

Life was never meant to be easy but it shouldn't be this damn hard.

SANDI,   so sorry to hear of your daughter,  i have seen mention of BARBARA on here,  but didnt know the circumstances,   FEBRUARY is going to be a hard month for you,      NO,   life can be so very cruel,
